In an entry published in May 2025, Mr. Okada tested a wire-loop device with a 25mm petal-shaped component. He reported excessive sphincter stimulation when it acted as a stopper and ended that trial after about 3 hours.

In an entry published in May 2018, a customer wanted the semi-long glass chip to stay in place more reliably. Mr. Okada said an extremely narrow groove could improve retention but burden the sphincter, describing about half a day as its limit.
