Written advice on chip breaks included time limits in July 2021
An entry published in July 2021 reproduced a draft instruction sheet that separated massage use from continuous wear. It listed 3 hours as the limit for massage use. For continuous wear, it specified a weekly interruption for inspection of the device and its thread.
