What happens: adding features to a vibrating chip

He said multiple motors vibrated substantially more at 4.5V or above than at 3V, while warning that prolonged operation at 6V was dangerous. A vibrating chip wire needed room to move independently from its cable

Twin-wire vibrating chip add-ons restricted surface shapes and exposed metal
