What happens: external prostate vibration

The OK Prostate Chip is a device placed in the urethra (urine passage) to act on the prostate. An entry published in October 2021 described a wire-driven prototype without a stopper (a part intended to limit inward travel). Mr. Okada reported that it could pass beyond the prostate and deep into the bladder. In an entry published in February 2026, Mr. Okada reported weakened vibration after extending a covered connection to 15 cm. He suspected the thicker wires and closely fitting cover were suppressing movement. The next prototype omitted the cover and used separated, parallel nitinol wires (the springy wire material described in the diary).

His 15 cm prototype left the motor outside in his test, while a shorter version accommodated it near the penis head. A failed internal motor prompted interest in external prostate vibration

In an entry published in October 2021, a customer reported that an 8 mm motor stopped working after its casing was reduced. Much of the motor's metal had become exposed. Mr. Okada suspected that waterproofing had been lost; the entry does not confirm the cause.

The diary does not record whether that customer's motor was repaired. Mr. Okada proposed an external vibration source for people whose motor section would not fit.

Longer external prostate vibration connections carried different historical surcharges

An entry published in February 2026 quoted twin-wire additions to the ordinary vibrating chip price. The extra charge was ¥5,000 (about $32 at ¥156 = $1, rate as of 2026-09-04) up to 10 cm, ¥6,000 (about $38 at ¥156 = $1, rate as of 2026-09-04) up to 15 cm, or ¥8,000 (about $51 at ¥156 = $1, rate as of 2026-09-04) up to 20 cm, all before tax. In an entry published in November 2022, a reader asked whether the redesigned retaining piece could still support an external vibrator.
