Thinner resin reduced motor waterproofing margins without guaranteeing lasting strength

In an entry published in August 2019, a customer requested a thinner 8mm motor assembly because its thickness prevented insertion. Mr. Okada said the thinnest motor was about 4mm thick, becoming about 6mm with protective resin.

Fragile wiring limited motor waterproofing with the proposed alternative resin
