In an entry published in December 2022, Mr. Okada compared a mostly rigid stainless-steel prototype with a more flexible version. He reported that the earlier shaft reached only the urinary sphincter (the closure that holds back urine). The revised prototype had about 5-6cm of 4-line floating support near its tip.
