In June 2019, a customer described repeated use of a 3-motor custom chip and worsening control when the urge to urinate arrived. The customer could sometimes hold urine for only 10–20 seconds, disrupting shopping and driving. The diary does not record whether bladder control recovered.

The corrected entry says its dedicated recognition cable was necessary, so the planned compatible-product launch was put on hold. A custom vibrating prostate chip passed tests without resolving fit concerns
In June 2020, Mr. Okada reported completed strength and water-resistance tests on a custom chip using a motor with back-and-forth movement. The assembly also continued vibrating during a test in water at 100 degrees. His personal trial involved the spare motor without the attached tip, and he reported severe pain during entry.

In May 2024, Mr. Okada described testing a bladder-mounted prototype intended to stimulate structures beside the bladder. After about 5–10 minutes, he reported a sudden disturbance in his heartbeat and stopped the vibration. He already had serious heart problems. In February 2019, Mr. Okada estimated motor tolerance around 4V and an operating temperature around 60 degrees. He said a motor stopped by hot water could restart after cooling. In November 2019, he stated a 3V motor rating and reported his own continuous-operation tests at 6V.
That November entry also records replacement after a customer's motor failed following 10 minutes at 6V. By November 2021, Mr. Okada warned about substantial heating above 5V and reported failures at 6V or more.
