Long twisted ceramic chips remained prototypes awaiting production in December 2019

Saved ceramic chip molds allowed repeat orders without guaranteeing identical results

In an entry published in May 2019, Mr. Okada described keeping individual ceramic chip molds for repeat orders. A resin master (a model used to create a mold) allowed corrections before ceramic production. The saved mold could carry the date and requested dimensions, giving later orders a reference.
