In an entry published in March 2018, a customer reported more bleeding and pain with a custom resin chip than glass during prolonged use. The customer suspected the second resin chip dried out and stuck, making it the main source of those symptoms. The diary does not record a diagnosis confirming that explanation.

The customer found ceramic too slippery and the blue chip too firmly gripping, while white resin offered a preferred balance. In an entry published in December 2018, Mr. Okada presented vibration as a further answer after screw shapes reduced sticking. In an entry published in February 2019, Mr. Okada tested an aluminum-covered resin prototype without electrical power. It carried electrodes (metal contacts for electrical stimulation), but his test addressed physical contact with the urethra.
